Lentil and Buckwheat Slice
Ingredients
- 4 ounces Roasted Buckwheat
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- 6 ounces Red Lentils
- 1 pint stock
- dried herbs (parsley + rosemary are recommended)
- 1 teaspoon Marmite
- pinch Nutmeg
- Salt + Pepper to taste
Directions
- Chop onion and carrot, sauté in a fairly large saucepan
- Add all other ingredients and bring to boil
- Simmer for 30 minutes, until liquid is absorbed
- While 3 is taking place, preheat oven to 400° F.
- Put mixture in loaf or flan dish
- Put dish in 4 above.
- Cook for 30 minutes
